This is the ideal starter package for clients wanting to learn more about their ancestors and is especially designed for those on a budget. ​The package includes:

• One line of your family traced back to the time of the 1901 census.

• A brief report outlining the results of the research and the sources consulted.

• A family tree chart showing the research undertaken.

• Suggestions and advice for additional research.

• Transcripts of the relevant census records and the 1939 Register.

Clients who subsequently commission one of our more extensive research packages will qualify for a discount (please contact me for further details).

Focusing on one chosen surname, we aim to trace your ancestors back to the early 1800s to provide you with a better understanding of your family history. The package includes:

• One line of your family tree researched (typically five generations). 

• Professional research report presented in durable soft-cover display book.

• A family tree chart showing the research undertaken.

• Suggestions and advice for additional research.

• Transcripts and/or copies of census returns and other relevant documents.

• Copies of up to three birth, marriage or death certificates.

Choose this package for a good overview of your family history stretching back to the Georgian period, usually with scope for more detailed research later.  

In our most extensive package ​we explore your ancestors' lives in greater detail. Learn more about their occupations, where they lived, their working conditions, and the events that may have helped to shape their lives. The package includes:

• One line of your family tree researched (typically five generations). 

• Professional research report presented in a leather-effect presentation folder.

• A family tree chart showing the research undertaken.

• Your family history put into context (includes aspects of local and social history).

• Suggestions and advice for additional research.

• Transcripts and/or copies of census returns and other relevant documents.

• Copies of up to six birth, marriage or death certificates.​

Being the most complete of our packages, this is a popular option for those looking to commission a special gift for a relative or friend.

Did your ancestor serve during the First World War? We can help you uncover their story and record it for posterity as a tailored biography. This may include details about:

• Service, including enlistment and the theatre of war in which they served

• Medals, gallantry awards and promotions received

• Wounds sustained and medical history

• Discharge, demobilisation and pensions
